Music review: Bajofondo melds new and old sounds at ecstatic 9:30 Club concert

"Pide Piso," the first single from Bajofondo's new album, "Presente," is a pretty good example of what the group started out to do: meld techno and tango. Although a little glitchier than the Argentine Uruguayan group's earlier material, the slinky instrumental fit well into the first part of the octet's show Tuesday night at the 9:30 Club. But the bulk of this often ecstatic concert was devoted to material that rocked en Español.
